Alot of people don't know this, but Prince wrote the song 'Kiss' for another band called Mazarati. They were another Minneapolis Funk band put together by one of the guys in the Revolution. I got to see them once in the 80's, and they were phenomenal. Pure Funk. They recorded the song, but didn't really like it and didn't want to release it... so Prince did instead.

Anyway, here's the original version of 'Kiss' by Mazarati:

Ha! That's pretty cool...I'm glad Prince put the little guitar bit during the pauses in his version. The singer sounds like he doesn't like the song...no feeling

I dunno... MOST of it is, but I've got a few tracks that are pretty decent. The 12" of Gett Off is really good... but it's 112 BPM. I always play it sped up.
