those are all real actors and we shot at an actual pharmacy and at a house of a friend of mine. we had to rearrange a few things to make the shots work of course and bring in a few props. i did have a producer who helped me setup all the stuff that i couldnt do myself, which was A LOT of help! plus a few of the producer's buddies hung around who helped when they could... which was a lot of help too! it was a lot of fun shooting and editing this thing! my first real venture into directing actors. was awesome! and they were very cool to work with. cant wait to shoot my next one! already have a script in mind |

well we shot this short in a single evening between 5pm and 11pm. since its only 1:30 mins long, and only needed two locations, there is not that much difficulty involved. I built myself a rudimentary lighting kit, which i didnt use in the pharmacy but did use at the house. That cost me about 40 dollars. We already owned the video camera, mic, and various tech accessories... so we didnt have any rental costs. we didnt pay the actors, they were willing to do it for free as long as we paid for food and travel expenses. total that cost us around 50 bucks. the pharmacy cost us about 90 bucks to rent... all we paid for was that the manager stay for the 2 hours that we shot there. editing took me one night and one day. |

that was nice bernhard haha , i had trouble hearing some of the whispering or muttering under the breath but it was a nice short for your first one. I am sure many great projects will come in the future. perhaps one day you can do music videos too! i'll hit you up for sure when i can afford one of those.

Hah, that's awesome. Was the script based on a joke you heard somewhere? It seems to me that the scrip could actually work really well as a joke with a punchline.
