  | KEN CHRISTIANS (ECB) RECORDS STOLEN IN DALLAS!!!!!
Friday night after the closing of the Minc party..Mo, myself, Ken and Jonene decided to have a night out downtown...Deep Ellum to be exact, sometime after say 5'ish but before 6 some one smashed Mo's car window, and stole Kens bag from the floorboard of the car (yes i know, they shoulda been in the trunk...but they weren't, you know how shit gets after 4 or 5 am...people get careless) ANYWAY....all of Ken records, cd's, phone, MEDICATION, and small electronics, were in the bag. All of Kens records are tagged on the label, as are the cd's i believe (which most can be replaced from backup files). That being said..i'm offering up a reward for anyone who may see any of these tagged items, or has a wanna be dj friend whose busted ass record collection and track selection has suddenly gotten a lot better. Also if you see anything with his name on it in any used shops please contact me. It could have very well been some crack head, but it could have just as well been someone who knew we were inside and new what he was getting......which really sucks. I'd hate to think that Dallas would be the city that he got his records stolen by someone whos a "supporter" of our music. Especially from someone who is in the top 2% of cool and genuine ass mofos in the game!!! Anyway kids, keep your eyes peeled, and holla if you know anything...Thanks, remember THERE IS A REWARD...NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!!!!

yes this sucks sucks sucks sucks. hopefully some of the records will turn up somewhere, but i think it was a bum that did this, not anyone who knew what was in the bag. dallas police aren't going to do shit. the trashbag i have covering my window is good times, by the way.

stealing dance records is crazy, a rare Elvis tune on Sun records, maybe just radom break-in? you know kids today, they smash a car just to see glass break hope you find em, proly just some yahoo scop'n cars and saw a bag.......might just drive around downtown, their proly laying in some alley IMO

you should start calling pawn shops in the dallas area... i know its a daunting task considering the hundreds of shops that are undoubteldy in dallas, but thats where I'm guessing they'd show up if anywhere at all. good luck. - jv -

if it was a homeless person, they most likely couldn't have gotten that far. scour the area's pawn shops and the general vicinity by foot. we found a friends' belongings after his car got broken in to less than 200 yards from the break in. granted we didnt find everything of value, but the sentimental things we were able to recover. and YES that sucks. karma's a bitch. just hope you get to be there when karma slaps that mutha fucka upside the head. |
