Hello All!

After giving it much thought over the last few months, i have decided to leave HUM in the capable hands of TCR and Leyline Promotions. This was not an easy decision for me and I've been worried sick about it, but I do think it's the right one. I, personally, have not settled with the venue changes since the early days of Canvas as most of you know from my newsletter updates, im more into the smaller, intimate style venues. Anyway I don't want to bore you with the details, but i would like to openly say thank you to Rennie & Adrian (my partners with HUM for the last four years), in my opinion we have put on some of the best parties 'ever' seen in breakbeat (it gives my goosebumps just thinking about it) and clearly I have not just improved as a DJ, but this is where i cut my teeth, and for that i will be forever thankful. Hum has always been about the people thats why 3 of our 4 years were spent as a free party and I think that's when I was happiest to be honest, so, many many thanks to all of you, the people, that have been out to HUM throughout the years, you have giving me some awesome memories that can not be erased, some of the best times of my life, i owe you all a lot!

I dont know what the plans are for HUM, im sure they will be announced soon, but be assured what ever rennie & adrian decide to do, it will have quality stamped all over it,i wish them the best of luck for the future."

It's good that he can hand it off with little regret. He's had a bit too much on his plate for a good while, and this may help him to focus on his live pa set he's mentioned before. The HUM has too much momentum to die down much, even with Mark's departure.
