He's only been making tunes for a couple of years but has exploded onto the scene in the last few months with his epic soundscapes and dubbed-out b-lines. Matt recently left his graphic design course at Goldsmiths in London to take on producing full time; a wise move with DJs like GROOVERIDER and BRYAN GEE busting his dubs left, right and centre! Matt's also got tracks forthcoming on LIQUID V, INNERGROUND and CIA, and he's collaborated with his brother NU:TONE for their NU:LOGIC project, the results of which can be heard on the WEAPONS OF MASS CREATION LP in the shape of 7" jazz-step nugget On and On. Outside of drum+bass Matt has a keen eye for graphic design; no doubt this is something to look out for on his forthcoming 12" sleeves! and... in keeping with Hospital artists unique hair styles, Matt hasn't visited a barbers in years, preferring to get busy with the scissors and trim his barnet himself!
