Fuze presents Epoch!

Only on www.desertfm.com

Inspired by the New Wave dance sound and mixtapes of Chicago's legendary "Hot Mix 5", Fuze embarked on his career as a DJ. Raised on Disco, Funk and rock records from the 70s, Fuze gained a vast knowledge of music as a small child and developed a keen sense of rhythm and timing which he used while playing various events in his Hometown. He fell in love with the sound of Chicago House and soon added Acid and Techno to his sets.

In 1992, Fuze traveled to Orlando, Florida to attended classes at Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts where he graduated and received an Associate Degree in Recording Engineering. While in Florida, he found time to dive into the local Rave and club scene where he soon dicovered the sounds of early UK Jungle. After graduation, he took his experiences back home to South Texas where he began working at local studios, spinning at numerous clubs and Underground events. In 1997, Fuze had two short lived radio shows. 107.3 FMs "Friday Night Power Jam" and Saturday Nights "Retro 80's" mix show.

In 2000, he won a runner-up spot in URB Magazine's WMC mixtape competition and MIXER Magazine's United States Of Trance Contest. Fuze held several residencies with nights such as BASSMENT @ OXYGEN, LUST @ THE HOT SPOT, and guest slots at UNITY and the legendary South Texas club UNDERLIGHT. Throughout the past few years, Fuze has continued to play throughout the South Texas area (alongside DJs such as: Victor Dinaire, D:Fuse, The Warp Brothers, Moda, Stryfe, Sista Stroke, Rob Vaughn, DaB, etc.) as well as gigs in Florida, Illinois and Indiana. Currently he devotes a large portion of his time working on original productions and remixes. His goal still remains the same: To educate and devistate the Dancefloor.
