DEPECHE MODE have been signed up to headline the seventh Coachella Valley Music + Arts Festival in California next April (06).

The dates for the Indio weekend festival were announced yesterday (12DEC05) as 29-30 April (06) and the British supergroup are the first act on the bill.

Meanwhile, Coachella is to be the subject of a retrospective documentary, released in January (06), which features the festival's most iconic performances
