The unique success story of Bad Company UK began with their first releases , ‘The Nine’ discretly released in Jan 1999, having to be re-pressed four times to meet demand, followed by the biggest selling drum and bass 12” of the year ‘The Pulse’ released on Grooveriders’ Prototype, aswell as a double pack, “The Fear” released on their own label all hitting No.1 in the Radio One Drum & Bass Charts.

The Nine holding it’s position in the charts for 3 weeks is still faithfully being played by top DJ’s 4 years on. This year ‘The Nine’ was voted for by 130,000 people on Drum and Bass Arena as the no.1 drum and bass tune of all time, The most recent release on Prototype ‘Planet Dust’ by BC was voted no.3 best tune of all time, and no.2 single of the year after Andy C’s ‘Bodyrock’. The BC boys themselves were voted no.1 producers with twice the number of votes as the runner up.

Their first award winning album (knowledge magazine 2000, Best Album of the year), ‘Inside the Machine’, met critical acclaim, and was followed by their second longplayer,
‘Digital Nation’.

2003 was an exciting year for Bad Company, after the success of their diverse album, Shot Down on Safari (which knocked Michael Jackson from number one in the dance charts), they released the huge dancefloor anthem, Mo’ Fire feat: Rawhill Cru, treating us to a battering of bashment reggae style vocals, maintaining it’s position at No: 24 in the national charts.

My friend was there at the Asylum that night the day EDC was supposed to happen he said it was the funnest night ever. I still havnt seen these guys I have seen Dj Fresh though hes tha man !!! Well I wish battletech wasnt 21 + I would be there for sure !! I Hope everyone has a blast.
