Louie Vega Wins Remixer Grammy

Since it wasnt televised and wasnt printed at the bottom of the screen, i thought i'd hip you to this:
Yet another house music vetern wins the Grammy for remixer of the year. Since the remixer grammy was concieved it has been won by someone in the house community...Frankie Knuckles, Deep Dish, etc, and now Lil Louie Vega for his remix of "Superfly" by Curtis Mayfield available on Rhino Records' Curtis Mayfield Remix compilation "Mayfield: Remixed". If you aint got it get it, its a nice slab o' music for your collection.

Best Electronica LP was won by The Chemical Bros for "Push The Button", as well as best Dance song for their collaboration with QTip for "Galvanize" (which, unfortunately, can now be heard in Budweiser commercials)

yeah,when i posted the same info last week, everybody was bitching about the Chems new album..I also dont rate it esp when they collab with rap type artists(SELLING OUT IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE TO ME !)
