Questions for Jono from Above & Beyond?

I've been given the honor and priviledge to interview 1/3 of, imo, one of, if not the best, trance productions groups in the game, Above & Beyond.

The name is synonomous with trance. If you're into the sound, you know who they are.

So, does anyone have any burning questions that they would like to have answered? I'll be sure to get them in my interview with Jono this coming Thursday morning.

Its kind of sad that dolphins have become the mascot animal for trance tunes. What other types of music have an animal as its mascot?

Dolphins are pretty cool though. I think besides humans they one of the only other creatures on the planet that have sex for fun not just to reproduce!

Dolphins are the most amazing creatures I've ever been so lucky to be around in their natural environment.

It doesn't bother me one bit that dolphins have become trance's mascot.

True Story:
At my going away beach party, just as the sun was beginning to set, my friend Suzanne tries to get my attention. I'm in the middle of mixing a record. I know she's a dj and would never do that unless it was important. So I turn my head and there, off in the not so far distance, were 4 dolphins jumping around directly in front of where we were set up.

Sounds EXTREMEMLY CHEESY AND LAME, but that sent me over. Everything seemed to stand still. There I was, doing what I love, surrounded by nothing but good friends. And a group of dolphins decide to make an appearance.

Definitely one of the best days of my life.

It's amazing how music can touch your life. And some of the most emotional dance music I've ever come across has been produced by Above & Beyond. Satellite is still an amazing tune. One of my definite questions will be, when will the Oceanlab album be released?

i'm already on that one. i was going to ask why it was that everyone that joins the anjunabeats label all sound something close to above & beyond? is that to keep some type of cohesiveness to the label? and if there are any plans on creating a sub label for other genres?

i know about anjuna-deep and want to find out what is happening with hard-on.
