Mili Sefic:

Born in Mostar, Bosnia, Mili Sefic grew up with a passion for electronic
music. By the time he came to America in 93' Mili already had a clear
understanding of the contents of good music. By the late 90'S Mili took his love for electronica to another level and began his DJ career. Mili's earliest influences included the likes of John Digweed, Deep Dish and Danny Howels.



After spending day in and day out perfecting the art of Djing, Mili began to show off his skill playing clubs and raves throughout Chicago. With its ability to recognize and appreciate talent, Chicago has been a magnificent musical home to Mili. He has had the chance to work and party with the best of them. From many bookings by some of Chicagos most recognized promoters such as Relode
, Pure
to numerous bookings by national promoters such as Spundae/Godskitchen
and Abstract Rhythm
, Mili has had the chance to play along some of the worlds greatest DJs such as Timo Maas, Mauro Picotto, Nick Warren, Tall Paul, Kazell, Dr. Kucho, DJ Micro, Jesse Saunders, Mazi,
etc. With a talent that cannot be denied, and carefully chosen track selection, Mili Sefic now stands as one of Chicago's top progressive DJ's. Mili is known to be a master of reading and manipulating a crowd. His style consists of deep and funky progressive house with a touch of tribal.


After his appearance at the 2003 Winter Music Conference
in Miami, Mili had joined the roster of Abstract Rhythm
, one of Miami's most influential party promoters with a very strong DJ Roster. Shortly afterwards, in Mid 2003, Mili has also joined the roster of one of Chicagos most celebrated underground party promoters, djs, partiers and music entepreneurs, FUEL
. ChiFUEL, led by Andre Solaris of Balance Promote and XM Radio, also consists of Grayarea's Nosmo, and cago DJs Rikler, Avex Axiom, and Paul G. Together
, FUEL works hard to bring Chicago some of the most recognized underground house parties. In short, "FUEL events are produced to promote quality progressive, tribal, and tech house, nu school breaks, and techno. With dj's working behind the scenes, the sound installations, lighting, and visuals are top priority. We feel that the part of the club experience is just that - hearing quality tunes on huge, clean sound systems. Never mainstream and always pursuing the lesser known. Through music, we attempt to not only bring the world vibe to the clubbing experience but also to bring the clubbers together. Open mindness is what drives us. Music is what we love. Mili is also a member of a collective of some of America's up and coming DJs/Producers, Ultra-Fonic and a member of the very respected british CP Recordings Record Pool

Today, Mili's name continues to grow as his bookings have taken him across North America including Miami (WMC 2003 & 2004), Vegas, etc. Mili's passion for the music drove him to begin producing his own music, as he is now working on his first original tracks.
