Industrial/Synthpop... - Dallas Dance Music - Dallas nightlife, music, tickets, and more

Is there much of a scene for this in Dallas? Is there anywhere I could go to get the updates on who is coming and where? I'm moving to Dallas in June and I don't want to be sitting on my ass on the weekends. I don't know ANYONE in Dallas.

I plan on Attending the BBB and Richard Vission party. That'll be great fun! But I'm looking for more of the industrial/synthpop shows. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Frontline Assembly is coming

we get industrial/synthpop shows every once in awhile but not all the time...

as for weeklies, there is The Church @ Lizard Lounge very Thursday/Sunday... there is Per's night at Minc that is monthly I believe... and look up threads made by Lord Byron, he has a night at Club One

send me a pm and i'll send you info about local lists you can go to as well

If anyone really wanted some good shows of this style, they should've been around several years back when we had Synergy @ Sand Bar, Synthpop Uprising @ Wall, Davyd & Stefan's night at Red Blood Club, Tracy and Val's night at Division One, etc etc... this city used to be teeming with Synthpop/Industrial nights to go to and shows were happening all the time.

about a year ago there was club indigo, heres their website http://www.industrial-club.com/ but it looks like they closed, events are posted though.

Indigo is not around anymore.. that was part of Per's deal, it's at Minc now.

I hope the industrial scene in Dallas is stronger than the one in OKC. I'd really like to start handing out my CDs and maybe get some live gigs around here.

there is a club in austin called elsyium they have had some pretty big names come through. its not dallas but its not that far awayhttp://www.elysiumonline.net/index.html

no problem, i used to be into industrial/synthpop a lot, i would still love to see razed in black and some others live. nice tracks on your website by the way, the dance beat on "charley" is killer!!

I'm curious, did you check the tracks on the cd entitled, " Naive Merit Genocide " by any chance?

I'm curious because the way I layed out the discography, I figured, would make people check out my older tracks before my newer tracks, and I don't want that to happen.

I think I'm going to change it up.
