So is Breakcore the anthesis of Dubstep? Meaning that instead of takin dub influenced dnb, dropping it down to 70-80 bpm, and stickin a heavy ass bassline, take the same idea, but speed it up to 210-220 bpm.

The formula isn't really correct though. Dubstep was a product of 2-step first and foremost. Lots of Dn'B influence but less emphasis on midrange. The love for Dub was just well...a love for Dub and not really something that filtered in from Dn'b.
