I once saw Doc at the Austin Music Hall in November of 96 or 97 (the years run together) on 3 decks for about 6 hours. The music was phenominal. What was an amazing party. The 36" disco ball was on a wench and when it lowered to the dancefloor I got in trouble for reaching up and spinning it. Good times.
He spun at the first party i ever went to in oakland back in 97 for 6 hours doing a tag team set with either dj sneak or derrick carter, i forget. I remember thinking wow those guys have been going for a long ass time, they got serious stamina. the girl i was with said dont think it will always be like that, not everyone rocks it the way they do, she was right.
