New Year's Eve?

I just moved to Dallas from Seattle and every year they have a huge NYE party. Is there traditionally one here? How big is it? Are there any international headliners?

not to be a downer, but most likely not. there will be something, just really good locals. they'd be new to you and i'm sure you'd be impressed.

did you ever hear Terminus? he's a good buddy. and i think hector "huggie" merida moved up there too.

I heard Terminus once. Very nice set. But nothing compares to Aaron Simpson, Dj Monkey, and Miss Joy.

Anyway... best NYE party is at Minc Lounge. It's one dollar to get in (as opposed to most places that are at least ten bucks).

I wouldn't count things out so quick. Maybe not a massive event, but disregarding anything big 3 months in advance is kinda early.

uh, no it's not.

that's the biggest night of the year for parties. why wouldnt you want people to know about it yet? even a teaser.

with no one being mentioned by now, that tells me that nobody, of the magnitude that i'm referring to, is coming because those guys are booked months if not years in advance.

w/ any luck, i might be joining you j-love. that's the giant party you're referring to. i just wish dave would move it from the clusterfuck that is the bonaventure. it takes an hour to get from one area to another. but i'd deal with that to see s&d tag it up again. that's mindblowing.

There are still possibilities, but la dj is right, he's talking about a top 10 guy, and most of those are already booked way in advance for a NYE show.

I can't even imagine how expensive that party is to throw. I'd bet it's the better part of a million dollar event.
