Anyone know of a rentable venue??

Hello. I am seeking a venue in the Dallas area, preferably a new and virgin venue, which could accomodate up to 3,000. It has to be a venue in which I would not have problems getting the dancehall/sound permits, and could be rented periodically for a one-off party. Indoor and outdoors would be ideal. If anybody has a venue like this or knows of one, I would really appreciate it if you could forward me the information. I will hook up the person that finds me the venue up with VIP's and drink tickets for the party, and if it is a really good deal on the venue I will even reward with cash as well. Afterlife (young raver crowd but def big enough)
2001 or 2009 (off of 635 and 35) <--- huge clubs but would be real expensive to rent due to their already huge crowd on fridays and saturdays

Those are Dallas' biggest venues (if you really think 3000 people will show)

maybe even the lizard lounge if you think you can convince the management that your event will pull enough people to use the whole block?

So you're the guy out of san fran that Exodus is working with to throw the rave on 4/20/07? FYI, there are no safe and permitted venues in DFW that will allow an all-night rave. There is Afterlife...probably the only permitted venue that will allow you to pull off a rave type of atmosphere, but it has to close at 4am and there are no bars (BYOB on some nights though). Everything else is inside the clubs. Good luck to you and be careful because big raves haven't gone off in DFW in a long time (other than the yearly meltdown parties, which are in a CLUB). CYA with the permits unless you want to have a run-in with the police.

these guys actually throw some big-ass raves in the SF bay area. i don't think that kind of event will work in DFW anymore, but what do I know

ya' as if there already isn't constant decision making nightly as to which venue to go to. I already have multiple events to go to through out the week, and always have decision making to be made come fri.&sat. Mabey you should get out @ night and actually see that it takes DALLAS people to revitilize DALLAS. We don't need outsiders to tell us how to have fun.
