If you've got nothing to do tonight and want to check out a GREAT new venue with some amazing live music, check out QUARTET LOTUS at Gezellig TONIGHT!

Feat. Adam Pickrell, Gino "Lock Johnson" Iglehart, Aaron Irwinsky, and Wes
Stephenson (all of which play for White Lotus Society-Dallas' Premiere
House Music Experience www.whitelotussociety.net)

This night will be open for jamming to anyone who comes out with an instrument!! The last show was INCREDIBLE!!!!

Doors open at 9pm band starts at 10pm and plays till ????

THERE IS NO COVER FOR THIS EVENT!!!

Gezellig is located at 2010 c Greenville Ave (3 doors south of ZUBAR)
next door to SUEDE.

Quartet Lotus is our jazz oriented small "group inside the group" that does instrumental music........Corey comes out and jams on the piano sometimes, and as always, on these Gezellig jazz dates, anyone is invited out to jam with the band-just bring your instrument and come out!

I think it should be made clear that unless you CAN REALLY PLAY, you might not want to just show up with an instrument, lest you might be made to look a bit silly. These guys are seasoned Jazz musicians and they SMOKE. Showing up with your bongos or Djembe to 'bang along to the beat' is not recommended from this fan and observer. I've played piano for 32 years and perc/drums for about 28 years, and I have no intentions of jumping up on stage just yet. Just a piece of advice from a fan!

Not sure if Amy and I will make it tonight man. We were planning o it, but I have a meeting tomorrow at 9am sharp and I gotta be on my toes. If we don't, tear it up!!!!

Well, on another note... Amy went to the dentist at 2:30 because her crown was hurting. Turns out they had to give her 9 shots, detach the crown, scrape out an infection on her root, reattach the crown, and place some chip in it that gradually dissolves over two months. She was in tears and has been each time I've called her. So needless to say, we won't be in attendance tonight. Next time man. Have fun.
