Kelly Trance has been an avid music lover her entire life. As a teenager she started attending raves and exploring the world of dance music. It was then she realized her passion for djing. While living in Colorado for a brief time she attended several massive parties with some of the world's biggest headliners while also saving every penny to buy equipment. Not knowing any djs, she would stand by the booth and watch them play so that she could teach herself. She was finally able to buy her own decks and went straight to work. Kelly bought records ranging from Trance, House and Dnb until she finally discovered her own sound. During this time, Kelly moved back to her home state, Oklahoma, to attend Oklahoma State University. Her first steps into the dj world involved joining with a local crew "Freshmaka", known for throwing some of the largest events in the state. She spent the next several years with a new crew, RiseUp, working her way up as a dj and learning the "ins and outs" of promotion. Her experience with RiseUp influenced Kelly's decision to start her own crew Iconoclast, which threw several successful local events and helped boost the careers of every dj in it. During this time Kelly was also able to diversify herself as a dj. Kelly played at, not only "raves" and clubs, but also art shows and fashion events (including djing several events for MAC makeup). It was rare to find a party flyer that didn't have her name on it! Kelly's career started to expand as she was asked to lead an "Introduction to Djing" class by "Ladyfest" as well as headline regional shows. It was then that she started playing events with a well respected Midwest promoter, Nahoj Thrillz Productions. In years to come NTP would become a predominant force in the Midwest bringing in the hottest djs around the world. It was only a matter of time before Kelly joined with them. She also recorded a mix for BPM and Rockstar Energy Drink's "Beauty and The Beats" dj contest judged by Reid Speed, Dj Rap and Colette. Her mix got her a runner up spot and a lot of national recognition. Kelly has held residencies at some of the hottest clubs in Oklahoma City (currently Posh) while playing parties all over the United States. She also recently went international with a tour in India and Dubai. She's dj'ed with some of the most respected names in EDM including Hybrid, Quivver, Frankie Bones, Hipp-E, DJ Rap, Tommie Sunshine, Nigel Richards, Dara, 4 strings, Colleen Shannon, Phantom 45, Atomic Babies and Ariel Cybana. Naturally, the next step in Kelly's career is production. Look for her original tracks and remixes out in late 2006.
