Elliot's Djing career began in 1992 at Manchester’s infamous Hacienda, playing frivolous disco sets where he fell over his soon to be partner in crime Miles Holloway. They formed their first studio outfit Salt City Orchestra and provided Paper Recordings with underground classics such as The Book, Downtime, and Wastepaper. Word spread fast and soon enough the pair began remixing for the likes of Underworld, Moloko, The Sneaker Pimps and Marshall Jefferson. Their tracks have appeared on popular DJ mixes by Fred Everything, Derrick Carter, John Acquaviva, Danny Tenaglia, Tony Humphries, Danny Howell and dozens more. Elliot has toured the world many times over, but this will be his Dallas debut!


DJ M3
(Green Gorilla Lounge, Tweekin Records, San Francisco USA)

Raising the volume of the Bay Area’s nightlife since the early 90’s, M3 has proved himself to be an influential character in the development of the SF/SJ house music scene. He holds down several weeklies and monthlies, throws underground parties including a camp at Burning Man, owns and operates the successful Green Gorilla Lounge label, and still finds time to travel the world playing clubs and outdoor events. Manny has rocked Dallas 3 times in the last few years, and we are very excited about having him back for this special occasion.


Jumble Tribe

It started in the spring of 1997 with a close group of friends, two Radio Shack loudspeakers, one cheap QSC power amplifier, one MTX dj-mixer, two beat-up Technics turntables, stolen milk crates and a long wooden board, an extra long orange extension chord, a little red generator, a green spotlight, a small disco ball, Kenny's truck, an Info Line, headphones, records, coolers full of Bud Ice, the park and a tree...

The Jumble Tribe info line provided the dates and locations of our weekly renegades, which occurred in such places as Irving Park, California Crossings, Spangler Warehouse, the Levy, the “hill” on Luna road…basically anywhere we could party all night without getting busted. We eventually had to move things indoors as it became more difficult to find secure venues. We held successful residencies at July Alley, Sand Bar and Green Room. Our first big shows included Diz @ Sandbar, Tim Harper @ Curtain Club, Stacy Kidd @ Sandbar, and Donald Glaude @ Paulie’s Social Club. However, our biggest show was a huge collaboration at Lakeside Ranch in Midlothian, TX. The name of the 2001 field party was “Water” and over 2,000 people danced side-by-side until the sun came up.

In 2000, we held our first annual Jumble Tribe Boat Party. We used the massive Texas Queen at Lake Ray Hubbard, which is a Mississippi Riverboat that has two levels and holds 250 people. After two years on the Queen we decided to use the party boats on the more active Lake Lewisville. But, the last two years we have been rocking the Lone Star Lady on Lake Grapevine. Guests DJ’s have included King Kooba, Lance Desardi, Waric Cameron, and several members of the Hazy Daze Collectif.


Saturday – June 30, 2007

Venue: 4,000 sq. ft. indoor space, 1 mile from downtown (address TBA)
Sound: 30,000 watts from Peak Audio (system used for “Earth” parties)
Ages: 21+ with valid ID (venue has a huge bar, alcohol sales stop at 2am)
Cover: $10 before 11pm, $15 after (free champagne toast at midnight!)
