Sunday, June 24th marks the next installment of Downtemple!! Resident DJs Tydro and Cyberina Flux with special guest Gift Culture $5 cover $3 you-call-its ALL NIGHT 21+ only please @ Minc Lounge 813 Exposition Ave Dallas, TX Downtemple is a night conceived by Trey the bartender (formerly of the Lounge, now of Minc). The concept is simple........ A chill alternative monthly downtempo night in a beautiful environment with cheap drinks ($3 you-call-its all night). Musically, it comes across as a mixture between trip hop, world, ethereal, goth, and chillout.. Each month we feature a guest DJ.. Either from the general electronic dance music scene and sometimes from the goth in Dallas. This months' guest DJ will be Gift Culture.... Gift Culture is a downtempo solo project of Michael Hale (aka Smiley), who does hand drums for Initialization String. As Gift Culture, he's played all over the United States as well as a few gigs in Germany. Truly amazing man musically..... For the curious, the guests in July will be Left & Right, August will be Lord Byron, and September will be James Meadows. This is turning into more of a rambling style than your average event posting.... But hey....  So.. June 24th is the next one.. And for the curious..
