 | Infected Mushroom at the Lizard Lounge Question?
A few people have come up to me and have asked me if the Infected Mushroom show at the Lizard Lounge will have the whole 9 yards to the performance. Which means guitar, drums, vocals, dj, keyboards. I understand the meaning of the word LIVE, which is "a performance taking place in the actual present time". People have said to me it seems weird that Infected is playing a dj set after Lizard Lounge. If its a so called LIVE set with all the members then why is there a DJ set at afterhours instead of a "LIVE" set. Why fly extra members in if its not use them. Since its an outdoor event i would assume all members are present?

steve has already addressed this. they will be doing a full on live PA at the lounge and due to the success of their past shows w/ steve, they are doing the dj set at eden. which is something they hardly ever do anymore. that speaks volumes.

  | Correction: The Lizard Lounge is the live performance. INSOMNIA is hosting the Encore event in which they will play a 90 minute DJ set - apparently something they no longer do, but like mentioned above, due to their success in Dallas.

yes the lizard lounge is a full on live show...all members and equipment, stage, sound, special lighting, visual efx, interactive experience. the encore is at insomnia, not eden. it definitely would not be better at eden because of capacity and sound. the performance will be with the 2 main members duvdev and erez performing an exclusive dj set...that they no longer perform anymore. they love the dallas market and the last show in feb and wanted to do something special and in addition to the live show. next question!

I guess Insomnia must have changed something then. In my opinion the dance floor at Eden is so much bigger and the sound system is way better. The last time I went to Insomnia though there was nothing but big stripper chairs all over the place that you had to crawl over and no room to dance. It doesn't matter, I'll still go see the encore performance because i think it's awesome that they're doing it and I love to show my support.
