Our goal is to provide a platform for individuals to showcase works, network, collaborate and learn across multiple mediums, processes, genres and techniques. The Nine Eyes Art Collective is a co-op founded to facilitate an atmosphere of cross promotion and collaboration within the local and regional art scenes. 9Eyesart.com is where all of this comes together.

This one will be better than the IC turnout probably.This may also be the show were Jesse actually lets me book a little local hip hop for him (positive, good vibe stuff), but nothing has been 100% confirmed so I don't know yet. super stoked!

Suza put a show on there back when it was the Empire Gallery... it was fucking kewl.. but, they had the shop next to it as well... so this venue is still pretty sick.. i <3 the "backyard" area....

it'll be good to get some of my art out there again....

where do you play? & what artists (locally) would you recommend as far as hip-hop is concerned........

This group I have worked with since the Knowledge Wednesday's days called Imaginary Friends. We do a whole "conspiracy" set that works really well with dance and punk crowds, but the hip hop scene as a whole has become way to thuggish to get it. Hopefully Jesse will give me the go-ahead and people will get to see what I've been up to.

I don't play out that much anymore since I moved back from LA because I am so busy obviously, but I always try to find the time every 3-4 months to do a performance for the people that support me locally. I've actually been getting back into DJ'ing a lot more too. I just spun at the Texas Tattoo Round-Up afterparty. Shit was crazy! At some point in the night I look up to see the lead singer of Fishbone freaking some Australian Shelia (video on SSA and Nine Eyes SOON!) to "Aint Nothing but A G Thang". Priceless.
