Long story short, complaints and some other shenanigans led to the place closing. Someone else took over the spot and was unable to capitalize on how much space they had and tried an ultralounge feel. I hear that the ACTUAL RJ (not the Ruby Room which was the ultralounge) space is going to open sometime before summer is up as a patio place.

Hope has always had it that there would be a new location for the Jacket or another venture by the once owner. I can't say how much of that is true or not, but I'll never forget any of the times that I was there.
