Here is a sample of the menu they are creating for the fest.


Middle Eastern Wraps($5):

Cool Cucumber~
maust museer (yogurt, cucumber & herb sauce), tabouli (cracked wheat, cucumber, tomato and fresh herb salad), and feta cheese

Ali Baba~
baba ghanouj (roasted eggplant dip), tabouli, and feta cheese

Yummus~
lemon garlic hummus (garbanzo bean dip), tabouli, and feta cheese

*organic greens can be substituted for the tabouli and/or feta cheese

Assorted Pastries & Breakfast Snacks ($2)

Turkish Coffees, H20, Herbal Teas, & maybe some organic sodas. ($2)

I think it is more like 4 hours from Dallas metro. Google maps has it as 248miles or 3 hours and 57 minutes.

Hope to see lots of Dallas peeps out for the entire weekend. This should be epic.

weird... it normally takes @ 3 to get to ATX [not a believer in the NON STOP policy ] then i thought it was like another hr or so to get to the venue... ooops... so solly.

we've got to figure some things out... but are seriously trying to make it out. i really do love the land.... such a great vibe. *wishes it were her backyard*

That's correct it's about a 4 hour drive.... You need to find someone to carpool with...Hmmmmmmmmmmm.. Maybe start a thread on tribe. Kitty,Brian, and I are riding together. Maybe ask Keith and Laine??

well... we're still trying to decide whether or not to bring the kids... so carpooling would be out if that were the case.. if we can score a weekend off... then a rideshare would be favorable.. it's all about timing & planning.. *checks schedules*

On tribe they said they are going to have a "family camping area" I'm pretty sure it will be where the playground stuff was at... maybe the kids could meet some other kids to play with.... i thiought about bringing nate but I'm not sure.....
