 | SUN 8.31.08 Poor Vida Presents : MC ASTRO -I'm Not You - DEBUT ALBUM RELEASE PARTY!! First off, thank you to everyone who was integral to the creation of this album and to everyone who has supported us from the beginning. .....The Mothership will officially be landing! This past year went by at warp speed to say the least. From the conceptual ideas in pre-production to the polishing of the master, we've had one wild ride. When I first met Astro while he freestyin in the middle of a packed Ruby Room, I would have definitely never guessed we would be where we are at now. One could even say that we've been in preparation for this night for close to 5 years. We have all seen how much work and life Astro puts into the mic anytime he lifts it. To say that he applied that same energy to this album project would be an understatement. The album is very diverse and personal, which comes to no surprise for those already acquainted with Astro. It has been an absolute pleasure to travel through his galaxy thus far. This is only the beginning. Thank you and congratulations on your debut album Denzil.
