One sound doesn't fit all.

Saw that first hand this weekend at RITM. Not that Fabian and Johnny did a bad job. It just sounded odd having them on first with two very different sounds building up to RITM who played all flavors of trance this weekend.

Because spinning at a club that size is different than a 30 - 40 person capacity lounge on Greenville. Some dj's come in, think they are hot shit, play their pre-planned set, don't ever look at the crowd and clear the floor. I'm sure they would rather go with the reliable than let someone have a "crack" at it.

There are plenty of DJ's that have played LL and other large venues that have done a tremendous job that have not been heard in a while. Just my .02
