Beach Party Legality? - Dallas Dance Music - Dallas nightlife, music, tickets, and more

So I'm goin up to Florida (destin to be exact) for spring break with some of my buddies and I'm bringin a few speakers and a few lights to throw some small parties in the rental house.

I was thinkin about maybe bringing down a generator and throwing a beach party but I'm concerned about tickets... I don't care if the party get broken up but I just don't want my shit to get taken in and get a trespassing ticket or something like that. Since I'm sure there's some people on here that have thrown some random parties like this I could come to yall for help.

What exactly could I get away with, if anything at all.

If no drinking AT ALL, will we be cool?
If only 21+ is drinking will we be cool?
If there are a few intoxicated minors? (if we are not vissibly distributing them alcholo and keep in mind this IS spring break)

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated!

surely there is a better resource for florida beach laws than dallas dance music forums.

Lol, surely there is. I just dunno where. I did a quick google and only found a few vague blogs about it. Just figured DDM ppl have thrown some random raves and a few happened to be at a beach or something.

PM "gator" on here. he's a super busy fella, btu he lives in Miami, throws events for WMC, etc and is prolly yer best bet on here

you run the risk the same as a park party. depends on the cops. and the state of course.

all it really takes is calling your local offices that oversee where youre doing it (prolly state w/ beach) and tell them you are having a party and want to know what permits you are going to require to operate legally.

I called up the FL state beach patrol and they jerked me around and make me go on a chain calling of about 15 different people before I got transferred to some 20 year old guy that said he doesn't think so but he'll get back to me.
