That's right bitchez, breaks is back! Announcing a new monthly "The State of Breaks" (an http://nsbradio.co.uk radio show on Mondays that Phylo and I run). We're keeping it on the early end so you can get to midtown early - get your pre-party on - and grab an actually decent parking spot! Drink special info on the way soon.

To kick it off, we've got Chris of Dallas duo Left/Right coming down. They've been BLOWING UP recently, with a major remix of breaks all-star Retroid's "Everyday Hero" and slamming bootleg remixes of The Ting Tings and Santogold that have taken the music blogs by storm. A Coffeegroundz and Hacienda favorite and key figure in the infamous Internet breaks radio station http://nubreaks.com
hosting "Warrior Breaks" every Wednesday Night! He was recently a key figure in orchestrating the nubreaks broadcast of the Techno Sluts party at WMC several weeks ago.

Finally - we have the dynamic duo Phylo and Great Scott!



Phylo is a recent Houston transplant from Lubbock, where he hosted the city's main electronic radio show "Fusion" on KTXT. His ungodly funky-ill track selections and performance energy never fail to get the bodies moving, and his multiple guest appearances on MK Ultra always result in a continuous barrage of phone calls inquiring about his track selections and where he can be found performing!

Great Scott has a serious addiction to music production and radio. Aside from working with Phylo on http://nsbradio.co.uk, Scott has been a host with the MK Ultra show on KTRU since 2004 and has recently founded Internet glitch-hop and midtempo radio station http://glitch.fm. He currently releases on Muti Music, Sango Music, and Scarcity Records, and has been featured on numerous media outlets including XLR8R Magazine, BBC Radio 1, and Sirius/XM Satellite Radio.
