but the point was that you said "i've probably been listening longer than you". If your in your mid 20's than that's not likely. Alot of us were in Tim Shumaker's record pool here in Dallas getting Cajual and Relief promos as they were being made. That was in 91'/92'/93'. You must have been like 10 or something then. Yes , time does matter. So what if some new trendy artist has a hell of a year, that doesn't mean they have the experience or knowledge of being apart of the scene for 2+ decades. There is real wisdom coming from being apart of a culture for 2+ decades. You get to see them come and go and then come again (and they do it all over again etc....).

I really am not trying to make you feel bad but you seem to rub a lot of folk the wrong way and i hate to see that. Humble up , work hard, play with your heart and leave the pissing contests alone. Cause the truth is (and this is for all of us) there is always going to be someone who can piss further so its always a losing battle.
