Where do you stringers hang out

hey everyone, ive been registered for awhile, but just recently realized that there are probaly some cats here i could learn from.

if anyone has any info on good places to go where there are respectful stringers (and respectful bouncers), i would love to go chill there.

people who freehand glowsticks = glowstickers (stickers)

im looking for a place in dallas where people who swing glowsticks on strings hang out, and there are bouncers that dont mind if i swing glowsticks on strings.

if thats to confusing, then i quit.

though it might be funny to show up at sans souci and start playing with glowsticks...

personally, i despise glowsticks. IMO youd be way better off studying funk styles, liquid (my fav), or breaking. also, its not called stringing, its called 'poi'. heres a website ive heard mentioned many times on reflective.net

so because you despise the art of poi you think he would be better of with a different "dance" style or hobby? mmhmm

let the guy do what he wants to do.

poi is swinging fire, but the term poi when related to glowstringing means moves that dont involve wraps (which you dont see in fire swinging). feel free to search glowsticking.com my username on there is Radakast... there is a thread on there describing this for yall.

please dont post your oppinions about different ways to express yourself. im just looking for more stringers in the dfw area.... if you are not a stringer, or if you dont know where stringers hang out. keep your trap shut plz.

could someone with more than 2 braincells plz post an answer to my orriginal question without commenting on either the name of twirling glowsticks on strings, or making etard oppinions about getting hit by glowsticks.

Eh, people are just going to post stuff like that. It's hard to get a straight and non-sarcastic response on DDM. Best bet is probably the Lizard Lounge. I've seen more "stringers" there.

i havent been out to LL in awhile... the last time i was there the bouncers asked me to leave for stringing. Ill go give them another try. thanks guys, and sorry if i was mean to anyone who posted off topic.
