hi every one, im new.

hi guys, im moveing to arlington from austin in the summer to go to UTA. i havent been to a party in about 2 years, and i hear the dance scene is still swingin'. sooooo i guess you could treat me like a tourist, i dont mind too much. im just looking for some friendly cats out there who wouldnt mind filling me in on what goes on in terms of the party lifestyle, im stoked about moveing! ive been on an involuntary rave break for too long.

not sure exactly what kind of party you are looking for as your post makes refrences to a completely different PLUR than most of us are used to



"party lifestyle" refers to swinger events

first thing to remember, DONT TAKE THIS BOARD SERIOUSLY. i know someone allready said it, but this will save you from mush confusion and being bashed.

couple more things;
raves are dead. we now use the term "party". they are much like what you would think of as a "rave, but held in night clubs much smaller than real venues (most of the time) and not filled completely with Kandi Kids (though we do put up with our fair share )
PLUR doesn't exist. it's great in theory, i guess, but you wont find many of us looking upon that term too kindly.

and here's one that i've recently learned from the Zen forum;
unless you either organize/promote parties yourself or are infact a DJ or have a very high post count (apparently), your opinion only matters if it's positive, and sometimes not even then. otherwise, prepare to be bashed.

but hey, this board aint bad. most of the people here are fucking awesome, and damn hilarious too. welcome to DDM. prepare to be meaninglessly addicted to the forums.
