Medway, Noel Sanger, and Greg “Stryke” Chin have joined forces to deliver their diverse styles and sounds to select cities in North and South America this summer to celebrate their numerous coinciding forthcoming releases on influential dance labels such as Global Underground, Release, Institution, Ovum, Saw and Subversive. Reigning out of Florida’s flourishing dance scene, Medway, Sanger and Stryke are all world renowned headliners each with a decade’s worth of experience, playing the world’s biggest clubs and releasing numerous DJ-mixed compilations to enthusiastic critical acclaim. Their past releases have been supported by world renowned DJ’s, a who’s-who of the dance music world. Informally named the “Future Rhythms” tour, this national tour kicks off June 4th and continues through August. Their aim is to promote the forward motion of electronic dance music and give club-goers an opportunity to see three of electronic music’s trendsetters in one night, pushing boundaries and delivering electrifying performances. Artist INFO: Medway Medway’s signature sonic fusion of tech and progressive was a mainstay on one of history’s top house labels, Hooj Choons, and his music has been featured on numerous top level compilations, including several Global Underground releases, for both Sasha and John Digweed among others. Most recently he was recruited by James Lavelle to turn in an exclusive remix of UNKLE’s “Invasion” for his GU 26: Romania, one of two Medway productions included on that compilation. When Toronto’s Release Records ran a remix contest for Medway’s Trauma, the results poured in from around the world, resulting in one of the finest pieces of vinyl to hit the shelves in 2003. His current and upcoming projects include remixes of “45 minutes” by Pako and Frederik for GU Music, “Cages” by Girl Nobody for Release, and “Chunky Humper” by Astro and Glyde which was recently featured on John Digweed’s Kiss 100 FM mix. His DJ schedule has taken him from Tokyo to Mexico to Montreal to NYC to LA and back again. Greg "Stryke" Chin www.stryke.net Greg “Stryke” Chin, one of the Miami club scene’s shining lights, could be one of the most diverse artists you can name. What do you say when the work of one producer ends up in the record boxes of DJ’s as different as Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk, John Digweed, Josh Wink, Lee Burridge and Doc Martin to name just a few? When that Artist’s work has appeared on labels like Ovum, Guidance, Hooj Choons, Tommy Boy, Subversive, Platform and Twisted? When that Artist is widely considered to be on of the most mindbending techno DJ’s around, but is not content to be pigeonholed into one genre, and makes consistently excellent music, either as DJ or producer, that can be called ambient, progressive, house, downtempo or, of course, techno? Stryke has blurred the lines and bent the rules, seen Billboard chart success as the mastermind of Ad Finem, collaborated with Christian Smith, John Beltran and Murk, even provided the vocal on Murk’s latest single “Time”. His DJ and live P.A. schedule has taken him from all over Europe to South America and all over the States, and he has recently signed on as resident DJ for Miami’s newest superclub, Nocturnal, set to open late this summer. Noel Sanger www.noelsanger.com Noel Sanger has released somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 tracks and remixes, appearing on more than 30 labels in more than a dozen countries since his first release in 1992. He has nationally released 5 DJ-mixed compilations (a sixth is set for Fall 2004 release worldwide), setting sales records with his 2000 release, “A State of Altered Consciousness” on Universal/MAX Music and his most recent DJ mix “Summerbreeze 2” on Nettwerk was widely regarded as one of the best mixes of 2002. He has remixed such artists as BT, Jan Johnston, Delerium (a collaboration with Grammy nominee Bill Hamel), and DJ Hyper with his work appearing on labels such as Perfecto, Musicnow, Limbo, Release, Nettwerk and many, many more. He has recently signed a three single deal with breaks-label-of-the-moment Electrofly, with “Designs”, the first of the three releasing late July 2004. This, along with releases scheduled for Summer on Release Records, Hunya Munya, Alaris Music, and Armin Van Buuren’s Armada. Noel has done two upcoming remixes for Institution Recordings including his Scorching breaks rework of PQM’s Aenema, which will be featured on Luke Chable’s debut DJ-mixed compilation. Noel’s DJ schedule has taken him throughout the world, from East Asia to South America, and all over North America. He has headlined at some of the world’s best venues and played for some of the world’s best crowds, and for 2 years (nearly 40 shows) toured as the Stateside opening DJ for Holland’s DJ Tiesto, considered to be the most popular DJ in the world. This is not a show to be missed, and the price cannot be beat for 3 head liners... period. So whos comin with me?
