Club help for a newbie
OK, so I grew up in dallas, but moved away for school and such. I'm back now working and I dont have a clue what the hot clubs/spots are. Any suggestions? I'm looking for something with nice trance/techno/breaks for friday and saturday nights. I'm looking for something more upscale like southbeach or NY, and the less freshmen college crowd the better (read: 21+ would be nice). Maybe something like Dragonfly in the ZaZa? but with great music/dancing? does that even exist in dallas? any help would be great

if you're looking for some hot spots. to be seen and be the "hipster" here are some spots. Lush, Spike, Nikita, and Paris Vendôme.

Come check out Club One this friday for Noel Sanger, Medway and Stryke.

All other nights it sounds like you are looking for place like Eight lounge.

lazerz might have been nice for me about 6 years ago, but i'm looking for a mid 20 something working crowd. I love to dance, but wow i checked out the lazerz website and all I saw were a bunch of X's on hands and stuff.

yeah they are. spike is in mockingbird station (75 & mockingbird). friend of mine spins there on wednesdays and he (or a member of his crew) also play at the kind of places you're looking for. people with some cash that dress up and go out to see and be seen. the semi-money crowd. his site is http://12inchpimps.com/ and along the bottom are buttons for each day of the week. their schedule should be up to date. i know they added some new gigs recently.
