I just wanted to say thank you to all the people that I met at Meltdown, it was the first party event I have been to in the Dallas area, and it was great. I owe most of this thanks to Trish for introducing me to a lot of you. I hope in time to get to know more of you and become part of the DDM family. So those I didn’t get to meet I hope to meet you soon, and for those of you I now know thanks for showing the new kid to the area a good time!

I'd be willing to bet you won't get the same welcome on this board as you did at Meltdown, but don't let them scare you off regardless.

Yeah the vibe of the event was sick, so I am sure that made a big difference. Oh and I won't let anyone scare me off. I was just surprised how many people on this board actually personally knew each other. Back in Utah where I was living we too had a message board like this but it was a lot smaller and more tightly knit group so it was quite easy to know everyone. Here though the board is huge (well compared to what I was used to) and when I saw how many people Trish knew off of this message board I was just shocked. I thought with so many people it would be hard to meet up with so many of them. Oh and I would of thought it harder to actually remember everyone. It seems all my perceptions were wrong.

At first I felt so out of place because I was used to being around so many people I have known for a while, and for the first time I was at a party where I knew no one. Trish changed that real quickly though. So I might not know a lot of people from here but I know enough not to feel like I'm alone. I was well known in Utah so I am hoping to be well known here.

So I think I'm going to enjoy it here.
So everyone who see this say hi or something and I will look forward to meeting you and those I have already met say Hi again.

Now that I know at least some people I am going to be going out more, and actually post on the board instead of just reading….
