So it appears that yours truely will be attending UNT this spring semester. What im needing is some tips from my Denton compratriots.

1) Do i spend the extra $30 for the premium parking or do i just make that long ass treck from the general parking lot or Does someone know of any free parking spots near the campus

2) any other relevant information that will make my attendance ant UNT more pleasant.

i go to UNT, you definatley need a P parking permit or plan on walking.

1: I would save my cash.. It's not that long of a walk.. In fact the majority of the neighborhoods right next to the campus have plenty of parking(on the street.. but it's fine they don't tow)..

Save your money. Fuck all that shit.

Learn the neighborhoods around campus and where you can park for free. Most of that parking is closer than the general parking lots, depending on where your classes are, and some of it is closer or as far away as the premium lots.

Plus you'll get some exercise walking around, which is always a plus.

Get the premium parking, unless you have an 8:00 class. All that shit is full up and it gets so damn annoying hunting for holes every day.

hey i got a lot of parking tickets there- if you end up winning the lottery- The Golden Triangle mall sucks. and San Dimas high school football RULES. This is almost as bad as drunk dialing. MAybe I should switch to chriskophjer's name.

What sucks is today on my way to orientation i was pulled over by a pig, who said i ran a stop sign. I think the fucker was racist. He saw a brown boy creeping through the streets, lost as hell and thought it was a bit to fishy. It Definitely wasnt the way i was wanting to start off my day

The cops on campus can be real dicks sometimes. You have to be really careful driving around there to make sure you completely stop at stop signs and don't drive over 20mph.

whatever you do- don't steal road cones and run from trhem... ask jeremiah about that one. And yes the cops are DICKS in denton. I've bailed out quite a few friends! Maybe it's time to dig out the denton mug shots!!

I found out from one of the meter guys that write the parking tickets that you can get away with parking in any of the lots but D and A if it's raining because he feels bad for people having to walk from the far lots in the rain and as long as you get your car out of the lots before it stops raining for a while he won't give you a ticket.

He's the guy who covers the lots over by Wooten Hall.
