 | Purrin Lion 10 Year Reunion Event - Respect II
Just wondering who was thinking about going to HTown this weekend for this event. Purrin Lion is the Dons of TXDNB. Nuff Respect. The show is their 10 year reunion event. Respect was in 1995 (you know, 10 years ago and shit), and it was the first all DNB party I'd ever gone to, so I definitely owe a debt of grattitude to the Purrin Lion. I know there's the show that's here this weekend, so I'm thinking not many people will be going; if you are, drop me a line and let's meetup in Houston! Vishnu would be bad ass to see! First time I saw him play he came to a party in Jersey and I was blown the fuck away!!!!

I would 've gone . I have always had mad respect for the entire senior staff at Purrin Lion. One of my favorite dj experiences was playing with Vishnu , DVS1 and Jetboy in Kalamazoo in 98 . I saw Mr. Vishnu slay many a weak selector back in the day with his upfront confidence and sweet tunes. At Set It Off @ the dmc with dslboy and danny the wildchild he cleaned house with a full on 'ardcore breakbeat set , still wish I had that set on cd.
