I love techno, but just don't have the extra cash for the airfare or the time off work to drive. I went to the first two though.

Check for the afterparties at the old Ramada Hotel on the corner of Cass and Bagley; the two clubs inside are City Club and the Labyrinth. I know that T-1000 will be at the Lab one of the nights, but Richie Hawtin has been known to stop by the City Club and play. Plus, usually there is a party or two at St. Andrews Hall. Sometimes they will re-open the old Motor for a party.

I'll be attending my 7th consecutive year. I guess this makes Detroit my second home. anyone who wants any info about the city should get in touch with me. We will be reaching by Friday afternoon. driving out this evening. see ya in tha D!

Yeah and don't forget to pass by Buy rite records and get your latest jams. Man I wisdh I was going this year. There are some nice afterparties going on. don't forget to go to Porter street. the Beatdown crew is spinning there. Norm Talley, darrell shannon and the rest of the crew. and the girl that used to do the mix showe on wdet is giving a party i think her name is theresa hill. have a good time and bring back some promos for the people in Dallas

Wish I was there. I've had to sit out the last couple of years, and I kick my ass each time. I miss the 313.

The last two times I went were great. I have still have fond memories - from rolling around Detroit after hours with Mad Mike, to hitting up 24hr liquor stores.

To everyone that goes: have fun, be safe, and soak up as much of the quality music as you can - you'll miss it once you're back in Texas!

I'll be there next year.

went to rick wilhite's store VIBES yesterday and hauled away SICK SICK records for cheap... this is my spot for diggin and I will hit Cliff Thomas' Buy rite tomorrow. a lot of nice afterparties going on tonight even ones not even advertised like this show with Colonel Abrams, rick Wilhite and Reggie Harrel of melodies and memories record shop. I love tha D!

Yeah I can imagine...There is also a place on Gratiot to shop for records. My best friend called me from the Colonel Abrams party and let me listen in. I am so bummed right now.....I have also heard that it is 95 and sunny in Detroit...today....in the past few years the weather has been pretty crappy so I am sure that the nice weather is adding to the fun and the increase in attendance. Have a great time and bring me back some promos!!!
