Hello - We are very excited to have you spin at the Dallas Observer DJ Spin-off at Obar, Feb 7th or 8th. Here are all of the details & set times...

DALLAS OBSERVER DJ SPIN-OFF CONTEST RULES



A. Description of Contest/Participation:

Local DJ Spin-off to win a chance to spin a minimum of a 30 minute set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, FL March 28-29, 2008. Must be 18 or older. Must be a resident of the Dallas-Ft Worth Metroplex. One DJ will be selected to spin a minimum of a 30 minute set at the 2008 Ultra Music Festival at Bicentennial Park in Miami, FL. Submissions will not be returned. Prize includes one roundtrip airfare for winner only to Miami, FL, one hotel room for two nights, and entry into Ultra Music Festival. Winner is responsible for all ground transportation, food and drinks and hotel incidentals.



B. Spin-off details:

Ultra Music Festival DJ Spin-off Semi-Finals will be held on February 7 & 8 at Obar, 1602 B Main St, Dallas, TX. 5 DJ's will Spin-off each night, with 2 winners selected per night to spin-off at the Finals on February 21 at LIFT LOUNGE, 2404 Cedar Springs Road, Dallas, TX. The spin-off starts at 10pm and a different DJ will go on every 30 min (yes, each set is about a 25 min so get your best stuff together.) The order will be determined by the Dallas Observer. Each DJ will need to check in with me (Jennifer Robinson) 45 min before your set begins. You will be judged by a panel chosen by the Dallas Observer. The winner of the finals will be contacted on Monday, February 25, 2008.
