I need a date to the Van Cliburn piano competition in Fort Worth  there's a website with all the details and concert events and whatnot- I know someone out there appreciates classical piano. It WAS my major and I miss it more than anything!! Anyone wanna go???? (any date between 5/22-6/7)

almost went monday for the preliminaries...but i dropped a lot of money this weekend just hanging out. may try and go closer to the finals. what exactly was your degree kerry, and where did you get it?

moved down here to go to SMU on scholarship for piano. did I finish? no... *kicks self* long story... but I do still play piano. I finished an associates of science and have about a total of 100hrs in different majors... oh and technical school in there want to fnish biology degree at this point would take about maybe 2yrs. That, in a nut shell, would be my educational background. would love to be a professional student. ... but due to financial contraints, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off for now to save on the electric bill

I've thought about going to this before, but never made it out. I play a bit of piano (though not nearly as well as I used to), and listen to Chopin, Debussy, Scriabin and such regularly. I might be interested in going this weekend or next.
