Tue, August 4th @ Nokia.



If you have never seen Michael Franti live, you are missing a helluva funky, hip-hop, soul, disco, rock-n-roll, sing-a-long, audience-participation hoe-down.

And Adam Duritz is always a vocal treat if you are into his (or the Crowes) sound.

If you are going I suggest getting them now. All of the really good seats will most likely be gone by tomorrow.

I hope that Franti plays stuff from his older albums, i don't like the new reggae album really, he fired his old band for this, and has been touring w/a new band. Not what i was hoping to read. I will not be going to this. I hope anyone who does enjoys it.

Well, I don't know a lot of his new stuff. Amy does. She knows everything by him. But of all the times I have seen him, he never fails to put on a fantastic show. He's one of those guys who makes you a fan immediately.

I'd be interested in going to this. Like a lot of his earlier work, not really up-to-date on his later stuff but my uncle swears by his live performances.

We all got a bit tipsy and jumped on stage that night! It was really fun. Unfortunately, I'm really not into his new album, and I think it's total shit that he got rid of his band and hired a reggae band. Only Carl is still in the band playing bass. Could be worse, but could be way.............way..............better.






Oh and btw, Duritz's hair is extensions. And he wears a Gurdle. :P
