New to Dallas- Where's the Scene? - Dallas Dance Music - Dallas nightlife, music, tickets, and more

Just got here to Dallas. Seems like I'm going to be here for a couple of months. I'm looking to check out some sexy techno and house parties and get my dance on. Formerly of Boulder, CO and a regular attendee of the Communikey parties, as well as others. I know of some great dj's that originated here, but it seems most of them have moved out of the city, but I'd like to find where all of you are hiding...

Also, does anyone know of any good record shops? I'm a big fan of vinyl.

my buddy JV and I do a monthly every last sat. of the month at Zubar called Lunar Tunes, I also do another monthly every 2nd or 3rd Saturday @ Absinthe Lounge (not located on lower greenville)

KiK does a monthly on every 2nd Friday I think at Zubar, it migh switch between 2nd and 3rd.

Brett Johnson, luke sardello and mike constantino do a park party thing on sunday's (check general discussion).

also London Nights is on the 5th of november at zubar.
