Hey all,
Just interested to know if there are any oldschoolers here that knew Joe Ortega. He went by RollinJoe back in the day, but posted most recently as just 'Joe'.
He was an old party buddy of mine, and I just heard some horrible news this weekend.
Joe and I kept in contact over the years and I would call him every few months to see how he was doing, catch up, etc... I called his house looking for him, and his mother (bless her heart) got very upset and was saying he was gone. I found out thru his brother that he died in March of a methadone overdose. I couldn't believe it had been that long since I talked to him.. and I sure didn't expect to hear that he was gone..
My dear friend Joe. He was so young.. I feel so bad, and my heart goes out to his family and those of you that knew him.
