![]() ![]() ![]() | getting dubs cut in Dallas
where do u go? I've been lookin at the prices at A&R I had a good laugh. presently I'm looking at places in the UK who cut plates for cheep. only thing I'm worried about is shipping. I'm in a bit of a predicament I have a shitload of exclusives but I'm being forced to use cd djs as I can't afford to drop the amount of money I'd be spending on rent for dubs help? |

A&R is really your best bet in Dallas. Getting dubs cut isn't going to be cheap anywhere, at least with A&R you don't have to pay shipping and they can usually get the dub cut that day. Every time I've done it they did it while I was sitting there. Get it done on 10" if it's a reasonably short track, that will save you $10.

BWAHAHAHAH!!!! try $50-$60 for both sides. there's this place in LA that cut a dub for gilbert when he was there; double-sided 10" for $30. ask the Titan DJ about it Keith.

if you go to a and r you can sit with stan while he cuts it and you can tell him if you want more mids highs etc. i think its worth the extra money. especially for new tracks that are unmastered...

my main concern is more jus to have these plates so I don't have to use cd djs even with the vinyl emulation there is just no comparison to a record I just find mixing vinyl much less of a headache nyways $50 is still way too much found a place in baltimore that does double sided 10's for $30 I think I shall be goin with them |
