I've been playin' the model II's for about 3 yrs, and I don't mind them at all. Kinda like a worn-in pair of shoes. However...If I had 1200's, the gem's would definitely be used as the coolest beer coasters you've ever seen.

i don't know much about gemini mixers, but i've been using pt-2100's for years now and never had a problem with them....they have +/- 2% more pitch control than technics, a reverse switch, and pitch bend.....i actually prefer them to 1200's now.
