I'm wondering ... in what genre would Underworld's "Born Slippy" be classified? I listened to it last night for the first time in awhile and it just never gets old! Such a dance floor classic.

BTW, does anyone know what the song is about? I always wondered what "mega mega white thing" was about. It's hard to understand most of the other vocals.

They are great live. I remember reading that he pieces together lyrics from his own writings and some conversations, the whole Burroughs cut-up style.

Underworld = emo-tech (my word for it).

"Trainspottin" came out and it was over from there.

"Pearl's Girl" was better in my opinion, but then again it didn't blow up as big on the soundtrack for "The Saint".

I just realized that Underworld seems to be a band meant for soundtracks.

Greatness in vinyl format.

I absolutely love this song... loved it since I heard it when watching "trainsporting"... and Ringle (from afterlife) plays an incredible fucking break from this track...

anyway... the lyrics can be made to mean several different things... but I have my own interpretation and I like it for what it is...

the song is about herion which is why he says boy so many damn times and the song was written for the movie trainspotting which is about you guessed it herion....if you want to know anything about them you can ask me i have been listening since i was a freshman in high school which was around 92......
