I've spent the last few months learning to spin records.
i was doing good and was pretty proud of myself.
one small problem.....

i taught myself how to spin on cheap, ghetto ass belt drives.
i just got my first direct drive deck and sound worse than i did the first time i touched a turntable.
is it just like starting over, or will it come to me a lot quicker this time around?

I did the same thing way back when. It probably won't take you too long to get used to new decks.

hey justin, when are we recording? just lemme know.
oh, the party is next friday, the 29th. so if you don't go to sweet, go there. i plan to release a new demo that night, and hopefully teach some azle-ites what real dance music sounds like.
