| Clubs in NY?
Well, I won a couple of airline tickets, but I have to use them before Dec. 31. I'm going to NY for a couple of days after X-mas. Does anyone of have any suggestions for hotel, diners, clubs, and shopping? Thanks

diners: they are everywhere, you really wont find a bad diner cause everything is so competitive. i used to go to this one on 36 & 7th ave. newyork.citysearch.com has a good restaurant directory. clubs: avalon, crobar, webster hall to name some of the larger ones. list could go on for days. shopping: macy's herald square, walk around SoHo, bloomingdales @ 57th&3rd, century 21 on cortland st downtown, 5th ave bet 47th and 59th st, park ave bet 50th and 62nd st. i would highly reccoment going to the metropolitan museum of art, 5th and 68th i believe, guggenheim, take the trip out to queens for the Modern Museum of Art, American Museum of Natural History. check out frommers.com and fodors.com , both of them have real good guides to the city and things you should see. i lived there for 3 years before coming here and you just have to plan what you wanna see because there is just so much to do/see

Thank you all for the help. I'm really excited and I want to plan my trip and not waist time trying to figure out what to do. My main goal is to check out the club scene and do some serious booty shakin.

Apt. is pimped out, there are a lot of restaurants that over look central park, i went to an Indian food restaurant called Nirvana, that looked straight down the middle with skyscrapers on either side, it was amazing.

CROBAR!!!! Best sound system in the country hands down. Food, anywhere really, tons of great food. Hotel, anywhere between 10th and 20th. Most of the good clubs are around there, or within a short cab ride.

It's been around for a really long time and there's good reason for that. http://www.clubshelter.com/ House your body all night long. Address and subway directions are on the website.
