| I dig the response...
but where can I stream "Renaisaince?" It's the CD with the Butterfly on the cover... PLEASE HELP A BROTHA' OUT!!!! And By the By: I just figured out that Progressive house is just a trancey house with the deep and ambience of a Break Beat track... yet it is 4x4 time, not all broken up... ME DIGS IT... especially the dark stuff. |

that's renaissance america i dont know. check google and see what happens. if memory serves, there's a fade remix on there. prog house really spans a lot. word to the wise. don't label anything. if you label music, it's one of 2 things. good or bad. leave it for someone else to label before we end up like the UK scene. d |

Jon - Nope that's not me. But I might know of whom you're speaking of. I know theres a Proteus out there from olden days that plays a real disjointed, breaksy kinda sound that borders on a Hard tip. Kinda Meat Beat Manifesto-ish, if that makes any sense! My name is lifted directly from Player Piano by Kurt Vonnegut. Paul Proteus is the renegade mad scientist/lead character in that novel - I felt a real connection to that cat - so I named myself after him. There's also a real trippy Mind Machine out there called the Proteus, too. Hope I dont get nailed on a trademark! ![]() PP |

have to show off the connections, and inform as well! *laugh* the new dave seaman (GU 22, in Melbourne) is, in my opinion, very nice (though there are those here who will disagree with me, *ahemvinahem*). Good stuff, not quite usual Seaman stuff though(the first 20 minutes of CD1 is VERY laid back) |
