New tune for The Breakdance Kid soundtrack

I am wrapping up the music for the soundtrack to The Breakdance Kid and it should be distributed in the next few weeks. Below is a track I started yesterday... unfinished and unmastered, but let me know what you think.

I like it. See if you can't throw some slicing in there. I hope you know what I mean by slicing (I'm sure you do), I can't describe it in text.

shit man, I can't describe it. a little bit of scratching in the beginning, maybe? I like the "old school" feel it has. of course it is breakdancing.

oh there will be lots of scratching... just haven't put it in yet. Wish I had Serato so I could scratch my own vocals.

of course it isn't mastered yet, but you know what I'm talking about.

I wish you could here me over here. I'm doing my own scratching along with the track. lol.. scratch into it until .31 seconds into it when the clap drops.

that's exactly what I was going to do... something like Rockit by Herbie Hancock... those types of almost electronic sounding scratches.
