![]() | WAVES in musix
I'm continually fascinated how a dominating theme of waves invades all aspects of effective music. (all not just edm) Obviously sound is constructed of waves, but also in other areas: the lean in and out of a beat (rhythm), buildups and breakdowns (dynamics and texture), the opening and closing of filters, automation / lfos (timbre) Every piece of music contains a fraktal construction, with billions of waves. It's like the human mind always wants to ride a rollercoaster: music is Always in motion. discuss philosophiacal, gentlemen (and ladies).

well, everything IS always in motion. if you want to take it to the "in this day and age" frame of mind, we're pretty fast paced, and yet find instances to move as slowly as possible. Its only natural that our music reflects that.
